Short: Network speed test utility
Author: karl@jeacle.ie (Karl Jeacle)

Type: comm/net
Version: 0.4
Requires: TCP/IP stack
Architecture: m68k-amigaos >= 2.0

AmiSpeedTest performs download and upload speed tests to the Internet.

Requirements are Workbench 2.0 and a TCP/IP stack.

The program works by asking the AmiSpeedTest server for a list of nearby
servers. TCP connections are opened to these to determine the server
with lowest latency. Then the download and upload tests can begin.

When run from Workbench, AmiSpeedTest will open its own screen if the
Workbench screen height is less than 400 pixels. You can override
this with the SCREEN=TRUE|FALSE tooltype. When run from the CLI, you
can open a window or screen using the WINDOW/S or SCREEN/S arguments.

Measurements are in Kilobytes and Kilobits per second. See Wikipedia.
