| Readme: | Short: Atari ST SNDH and YM music player Author: Arnaud Carr; MorphOS port: Lastic Uploader: Lastic (lasticppc@gmail.com) Type: mus/play Version: 1.21 Requires: MorphOS 3.20+, SDL3 libraries (GUI player only) Architecture: ppc-morphos License: MIT URL: https://github.com/arnaud-carre/sndh-player
SndhPlayer plays the music of Atari ST programs: SNDH files (the original 68000 replay code of the tune, played by emulating it) and YM files (recordings of the YM2149 sound chip). It is a MorphOS version of the SNDH & YM Archive Player by Arnaud Carr.
- SndhPlayer: the GUI player. Playlist, oscilloscopes, tune information. Files, drawers and ZIP archives are dropped on it. - sndhplay: plays a file from a Shell, through AHI. - sndh2wav: converts a file to a WAV sound file.
Requirements: MorphOS 3.20+. The GUI player needs the SDL3 libraries: EasyInstall installs them together with SndhPlayer. Without EasyInstall: install the SDL 3 package from MorphOS Storage first (https://morphos-storage.net/?find=SDL_3). The command line tools do not need SDL3.
Installation: with EasyInstall, or unpack the archive and drag the SndhPlayer drawer where you want it. Unpack, ready to use.
Double-click in Workbench: not set up by unpacking. Run Install_Filetype in the SndhPlayer drawer when you want it (see ReadMe.txt).
This is an UNOFFICIAL port, not made or supported by the original author. Report problems to the porter.
